INTERIOR DESIGN 

 

We start by listening throughout the entire design process.

 

Everything starts with a call, email or text. Reach out to us to set up a time to discuss your project.  We will meet with you on site, or simply chat on the phone and ensure the relationship is a good fit for us both.

We'll discuss the scope of your project, during the initial meeting. We want to understand your goals and overall budget.  Based on what we learn, we'll create a design retainer agreement, which covers the scope of work, fees, and some general working guidelines. Our intent is to create a realistic, stressless and successful, working relationship for both parties. Of course, it must be completely transparent. Transparency and honesty are the core values of Veritas Design Group & Studio. We will include you as much or as little as you prefer, during the process Just let us know what you wish to experience.

After you approve our proposal, we begin in our studio. We dive into the design development process. We create the necessary schematic drawings, select furnishings, fabrics and any architectural details needed to complete your vision. We dream, source and collect all necessary information needed for your project

Next we present our concepts to you. We'll present our ideas to ensure we are meeting your design expectations. If any changes are needed, we return to our studio and source new possibilities.

Upon agreement of the conceptual design, final selections of fixtures, furnishings, accessories, and any construction work needed, we gather pricing for all work and item.  All specified items are presented through itemized proposals. We ask your approval on all selections, so there are no surprises down the line. Each proposal is signed off and funded prior to any ordering. Our goal is to keep you informed, through the process, so you'll know exactly what to expect, when sourcing through Veritas Design Group & Studio.

We remain diligent during the  project management phase, through the ordering of specified items, as well as the crucial installation process. We address details, during the styling of the installation, where we make final adjustments and artful touches. This ensures the design vision, for your space, is fully realized.

FEE STRUCTURE

Veritas Design Group & Studio charges on a per project basis. Private Residential Projects are charged on an hourly basis with an initial design retainer required. Hourly fees are backed out of the retainer and charged on a bi-weekly basis. 

Development projects are charged a flat fee, with an initial retainer and monthly payments based on total project cost. 

Purchasing Services are at Designer Cost, plus reasonable percentage and detailed within the retainer agreement. Discounts for items purchased, through retail outlets that offer design discounts, are split between the client and design firm.

Administration fees are per project and detailed within the design retainer agreement. Project Management fees are per project and detailed within the retainer agreement.
